We offer a full range industry leading synthetic and mineral grade lubricants, a wide spectrum of basestock, as well as asphalt and specialty products -- waxes, process oils and white oils. ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties operates 2 lube blending plants, located in Tianjin and Taicang, which supply more than 80% of our finished lube requirements for China. A well-developed national network of several hundred distributors markets our products in their respective areas.

Position Title: Sales Specialist


LOCATION:
Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing


Job Responsibility:
After initial on boarding program, successful candidates will either be assigned to a front line sales representative role or front line field
Engineering support role:


For sales representative role:

- Develop business plans to meet established objectives, and implement the sales processes
- Lead and direct distributors' sales force in the effective implementation of marketing programs and sales initiatives
- Steward business relationships with key customers, channels and distributors
- Effectively allocate and manage company resources and assets assigned to support the implementation of the sales plan
- In conjunction with Customer Services and the Distributor Business Development group, manage credit performance of direct customers
- Take responsibility for maintaining our License to Operate, ensuring
compliance with company guidelines and policies related to Safety,
Health, Environment, Security and Business Controls.


For Field Engineering Support role:
- Provide onsite engineering services to protect key existing accounts.
- Work with front-line sales colleagues to develop new industrial and automotive customers.
- Act as technical resource for sales team.
- Resolve technical problems regarding product or equipment performance
- Handle customer's complaint on product quality and application
- Develop technical presentation materials and conduct training to new technical and sales employees, customers and distributors on product knowledge, applications and programs
- Direct and coordinate all engineering activities for the assigned territory.

 

Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master degree holders in mechanical, engineering, or equivalent
- Good command of spoken/written English
- Willingness to relocate to different locations within mainland China
- Self-motivated, strong initiative and a desire to succeed.
