Job description:

● Develop new sales accounts with emphasis on value selling

● Handle sales activities, particularly introducing new and differentiated products to support business growth

● Keep abreast of sales account and market activities, visit customer regularly, write visit reports and generate sales account plans

● Collect and analyze market information and provide feedback to management

● Contribute as a member of regional or global teams, typically in a virtual environment

● Follow-up on customer payments

● Provide after-sale customer service

● Lead and coordinate within R&D multifunctional team in project design and execution, participate in Global Chemical Research programs, interface with ExxonMobil technology / marketing / manufacturing organizations

● Present and document research results, observe and evaluate scientific trends

● Keep abreast of relevant competitive IP literature in order to direct own research and to develop a strategically aligned intellectual property portfolio in the field of polymer science and write appropriate invention reports

● Develop strong contacts with academia and professional societies

● Coach / mentor junior and temporary staff when appropriate to ensure effective performance management

● Provide resolution of relevant non-routine technical problems.

Professional Skills / Requirements

● Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Polymer Physics

● Theoretical and experimental expertise in semi-crystalline polymer crystallization, structure-properties relationship study for polyolefin

● Responsible for proposing and writing reports, not only for internal use, but for eventual publication and/ or presentation at relevant conferences

● Skilled in microscopy, rheology, thermal analysis, spectroscopy, and/or x-ray scattering

● Excellent communication skills as well as English in spoken and written form

● Capable of independent laboratory work and scientific method

● Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural and team environment, strong organizational skills

● Be prepared to travel globally and work across international boundaries

Job description:

● Support the development of small and large injection molding and instrumented tooling capability in our Shanghai Technology Center

● Conduct injection molding-related application development and knowledge build in support of growth in various business units

● Ensure safe and efficient operation of injection molding machines and related testing equipment

● Provide injection molding training and demonstration to our market-facing teams and customers

● Develop and maintain relationship with machine and tooling suppliers

● Work with our global technology organization in US and Europe for molding support and development programs

Requirements:

● Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering with Polymer Science focus or Polymer Processing Engineering

● Experience in polymer processing

● Strong knowledge of injection molding or tooling technology or flow simulation and finite element analysis

● Knowledge of polymer structure and morphology and polymer processing

● Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

● Able to work independently and as a team player

Job description:

● Resolve process and performance issues related to ExxonMobil products

● Support and train Asian Sales Team on value selling and technology

● Translate customer/market needs into new product development opportunities

● Work with our Global Technology organizations in the U.S. and Europe for both laboratory support and joint development programs
