•    Integrate and calibrate Delphi EMS on specific engine and vehicle to meet defined engineering target and customer requirement.

•    Coordinate EMS development plan to assure the seamless functional execution Deliver a qualified and robust calibration on time.

•    Technical engineering reports audit.

•    Hot Trip/Altitude Trip/Cold Trip testing execution.

•    Create Customer's Value and Exceed Customer’s expectations during EMS development process.

•    Execute the calibration problem solving and focus on improvement continuously.

•    Execute the Calibration review meeting & Customer review meeting & Buy-Off meeting & PDP Design review meeting related to the technical integration.

•    Execute EMS Project Calibration Release process and compile customer’s Demonstration/Certification.

•    Execute the change process. Create Change Request and implement Change Notice.

•    Manage and coordinate the EMS project development timing & resource to support Management target and company business strategy.

•    Estimate program cost accordingly for company business reference

•    Coordinate EMS Calibration Quality System is in compliance with ISO/TS-16949:2002 and Delphi Business System requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Description:

Lead pro-active quality engineering activities during the Phase 0-2 product/process/program development phases, to ensure that a robust quality system has been built into the Product and Process as the product transitions into Phase 3. Lead cross-plant and cross-region activities such as lessons learned, for assigned product lines

Responsibilities:

•    Lead project APQP activities directly with customers..

•    Understand customer quality systems/requirements and ensure that those requirements are communicated and met, throughout the Phase 0-2 program development stages.

•    For all Significant and FAI projects, lead WRAM, APQP tracker (if customer does not dictate specific format use DP818), and CVM activities.

•    WRAM updated per project timing requirements, but no longer than every three months. Provide regular updates to project team and Chief Engineers.

•    APQP Tracker updated per project timing requirements, but no longer than every three months. Provide regular updates to project team and Chief Engineers.

•    CVM updated per project timing requirements, but no longer than every three months. Provide regular updates to project team and Chief Engineers.

•    The above documents should be ready for review at scheduled Design and Process Review .

•    Provide voice of the customer as well as voice of the plant on Phase 0-2 programs.

•    Update / involve the Plant Phase 3 Quality Engineers as needed.

•    Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into new product/process designs.

•    Captured from current production and historical customer complaint data (DPRTS)

•    Actively support the development/updating of DFMEA, PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Standard Cell documentation.

•    Provide input and direction on linkage of documentation, measurement systems and required gaging/measurement systems

•    Work with the plant Phase 2 QE to understand if required measurement system/gaging is available in the plant, or that it is included in the project AR.

•    Frequency of measurements identified in the PCP and evaluated against the available resources in the plant.

•    Hidden factory/rework processes are captured in documentation.

•    Documents need to align with CVM

•    Provide input and guidance on special characteristics on all product drawings.

•    Lead initial development of the receiving inspection requirements with the Phase 3 Plant Quality Engineering organization.

•    Create PCP for purchased components that identifies what needs to be checked, gaging required, frequency of checks and acceptance criteria.

•    Support the successful completion of PPAP activities with the plant.

•    Engage the Phase 3 Plant QE early in the PPAP preparation and planning activity.

•    Provide onsite support at the manufacturing plant during the launch period to facilitate the transfer of the quality systems and lessons learned.

•    Provide historical, lessons learned and training from project development to Phase 3 Plant QE team.

•    Global AQM responsibilities include oversight programs being managed by Regional AQM’s.

•    Set up monthly review with Regional AQM’s for your product line to review their ongoing projects to make sure that standardized work and lessons learned are being utilized across regions and programs.

•    Support Equipment Qualifications as needed.

•    Support Phase 3 Line Side Review activities within the plants for your assigned products.

•    Cascade lessons learned across plants, products, and programs.

•    Work with plants in tracking the LSR metrics.

•    Provide quality metrics update to the Business Teams

•    Utilizing standard document format (from Monthly Plant Reviews) to provide monthly quality update in the BT meetings.

Description:

Make sure the Engine Dynamometer Lab test equipment is under good condition and finish scheduled test successfully and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

•    Responsible for processing Engine Dynamometer Lab test every day efficiently. Lead and join actual test activities for selected test work requests for EDL in order to exert and materialize test technology to laboratories. Support calibration engineers on measuring theory and equipment veracity.

•    Responsible for equipment failure recovering and harness transforming independently.

•    Responsible for the test engine preparation in test equipment and do the mechanical drawing for the test fixture. Responsible to develop the Laboratory test engineering capability by optimizing the equipment in hardware and software.

•    Follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Description:

Responsibilities:

•    Clearly understand customer requirement, and current EMS System status. Design appropriate algorithm/logic to meet customer requirement.

•    Analysis S/W defect and debug S/W issues, find root cause. Give the solution to improve functionality or fix issues.

•    Verify the S/W, ensure the functionality and quality.

•    Provide expertise and support application team on EMS calibration and algorithm questions.

•    Become the functional expert in assigned module/sub-system.

•    Keep contact with global EMS system team, on algorithm design, issue report and technical review.

Qualifications

Education:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Vehicle Engineering or Internal Combustion Engine required, Master preferred.

Experience/Special Skills:

•    Strong technical knowledge about internal combustion engine including detailed understanding of each vehicle system component, especially the engine, transmission and emission control subsystem.
