    I have been with Continental for 5 years. As Plant Controller of Continental Automotive Jinan Co., Ltd., my primary task is to ensure the legal accounting of our company in compliance with local PRC accounting and global IFRS rules. However in Continental there is a very strong link between financial and managerial accounting, as both use the same data sources and the same accounting principles. As a result my responsibilities are extended to the planning and forecasting of our business, monthly reporting or creating concepts for business information. In short: I have to act as an internal consultant and initiator of corrective actions. My expectation towards the student is that he/she is open minded to ask questions and show opinions, Finance related major is a plus.
