    Role Synopsis
    PTA export customer service representative (CSR) plays a key role in facilitating order to cash process and ensuring a smooth running of export business. Acting as first person to contact in BP, CSR coordinates PTA export business for 3 BP assets, handles over 15 export accounts and interacts with 8-10 shipping lines. Extensive internal and external interfaces and exposures make diverse career paths available for the commercial challenger from logistic specialist, logistic commercial and management, to PTA marketing and market development. The following knowledge and experiences can be expected during the 3.5 years development duration:
    To learn the basics of export operations, commodity logistics, and PTA market context.
    To liaise with domestic and oversea PTA customers for contract preparation, payment tracking, delivery planning and account balance reconciliation.
    To coordinate with BP PTA assets, agents and shipping lines to ensure timely delivery.
    To act as the key contact point to solve problems for customer and deal with complaints.
    To prepare export documents and manage internal and external document flow.
    To maintain sales/purchase and cost database and conduct data analysis.

    Role Synopsis
    The Graduate Chemist (or Graduate Engineer) will work in the Castrol China Technology Centre (CCTC) which provides technical support for Industrial and Automotive businesses in addition to Product Development for car engine oils and driveline fluids for the Asia and Pacific region. CCTC is one of many technology centers that are a part of the global function, Formulated Products Technology which provides lubricants solutions and support for the Global Castrol Lubricants business.

    Over the two years training period the Graduate will complete two different placements in Automotive Product Development, driveline fluids and technical support for Industrial and Automotive businesses. At the end of a successful training period the Graduate will be placed in a permanent role in one of the teams as determined by business requirements.

    The Graduate will follow a structured training program which includes a mixture of training courses (online, face to face, internal and external) and on the job training. The Graduate will work with formulators, engineers, advisors, statisticians and marketing specialists and will gain a good knowledge of lubricants technology, application hardware, customer technical support, product development and project management.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Product Development Role:
    Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and meet BPs Code of Conduct
    Conduct laboratory work to prepare Industrial or Automotive samples for analysis and performance tests
    Schedule and manage analytical and performance testing of samples, and matrices of samples. Record, analyze and interpret test data, modify formulations or test plans through discussion with senior team members
    Run small scale laboratory tests using Standard Operating Procedures to assess performance of products
    Plan, manage and execute projects with internal and external partners (such as testing facilities, consulting engineers, automotive manufacturers, customers and suppliers) with guidance
    Communicate with internal and external testing facilities, raw material suppliers, functions in other parts of the business (such as marketing, supply chain and sales) and project stakeholders

    Technical Support Role:
    Work with product manager on marketing team and product development team to deliver program
    Select and manage plant formulation based on specification and standard
    Handle product application issues and trouble shooting
    Provide technical support to marketing on product launch and communication
    Support supply chain to handle technical issues during the production and quality management
    Organize and conduct training and seminar

    Role Synopsis
    BP Lubricants spends $1.4b+ annually on None Product Related (NPR) goods and services. The objective is to develop a Best in Class NPR procurement service to the Lubricants China business that is compliant to BP group standards and policies. A key feature of this role is to develop and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders in China.

    The NPR Graduate Procurement specialist China will work closely with the NPR Procurement Manager in China in the execution of sourcing initiatives, and where appropriate implement Global Category Strategies.

    The jobholder will be involved in:

    Support supplier negotiations, updating KPI’s under the Supplier Performance Management Framework to deliver, track, report COGS, CASH savings to China OU
