The Ford Finance GT program offers recent university graduates the opportunity to work in a multinational environment with other highly-motivated finance professionals from around the globe. The program has been successfully training future company leaders in China for several years. During the two year program you will be assigned into two finance related roles such as support for one of our operating function, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Strategy, Accounting, Treasury and Ford Credit (Financial Service). As a Finance GT, you will have the opportunity to begin building your career as a successful finance executive. You will interact with finance and other colleagues across various functional areas and have the opportunity to influence Ford activities throughout the region. Some travel may be required
• Profit modelling and income statement analysis for future model vehicles
• Cost tracking and reporting; analysis of cost reduction opportunities and investment returns
• Analyse volume or revenue trends, analysing competitive price positions
• Consolidation and distribution of market and functional forecast and budget submissions
• Credit analysis and risk management
• Accounting such as intercompany transaction, month-end accounting closing, corporate accounting reporting, account reconciliation and governance of accounting tools.
• Cash Flow analysis, liquidity planning and control.
• Regular data input and tracking; maintaining robust database information

During the two year program you will take a Finance Analyst role such as support for PD program finance, engineering finance or purchasing finance. Some travel may be required. Ford will provide in-series training course to help you build and develop competencies and skills.
• Daily responsibilities differ across positions, but the responsibilities of a typical Finance GT may include:

• Work with cross functional team (engineering, purchasing and cost estimating etc) to understand material cost details and achieve cost reduction target
