在上海学习工作十年,其中六年奉献给了康宁环境科技事业部金桥工厂商务部。 作为一名高级应用工程师,我了解公司产品及客户需求,熟悉质量体系。在获得康宁环境科技事业部合肥工厂质量经理的内部调岗机会后,我立即表示要加入,我想要在新的职业舞台迎接新的挑战,想要将我过去六年的工作经验用到需要的地方,与工厂一起成长,体验合肥不一样的风土人情。 GPF使呼吸更顺畅, 我很自豪能在康宁环境事业部工作。

I have worked in CSCL commercial department for 6 years during my 10 years stay in Shanghai. As a senior application engineer, I am familiar with Corning product and customer demand, also understand quality system requirement. When I got the chance to change my role to CHCL plant quality manager, I took it without hesitation. I am willing to take challenges in the new career, also would like to apply my working experience in past 6 years to new role, and grow up with the new factory. 我是十年前作为成型工艺工程师加入康宁的。那时候,我的职业目标是成为一名出色的工艺工程师。两年后,康宁的扩建项目改变了我的职业规划。我在扩建团队里担任的角色除了工艺调试以外,还负责部分的生产及工艺的协调。在这个过程中,我第一次意识到领导力也可以使项目更加顺利,而且在这其中我能发挥作用。扩建结束后,我曾亲眼目睹管理层通过“卓越绩效”改变了整个公司的文化。带来更多的价值,影响更多的人,这是促使我将职业目标转向管理的最重要的原因。

通过带领工程师团队,以及资深领导的管理指导,我受益颇多。我们的团队持续为公司带来优秀业绩,频频打破工厂的记录,这些给了我在带领团队上极大的鼓舞, 让我相信我未来能做得更好。以后的几年里,我成为了工厂工程部的主管、经理。

在担任工厂技术经理三年左右,康宁在中国业务的高速增长,带来了更多人才需要,我也有了更多的机会。这时候,康宁中国研发中心需要找一位经理建立产品原型开发中心。起初我的对这个职位是有些疑虑的。面对完全不熟悉的领域,要和完全不同于工程师背景的人合作,我会带来价值吗? 但我也意识到这是个突破自己舒适区的好机会。幸运的是,在这个优秀的团队里,我再一次得到了有力的支持,成功建立了原型开发中心。

随着康宁在中国的持续投资,公司内部的职业机会也在不断的增加。但随着制造业在一线城市的外迁,更多的新机会在二三线城市涌现,这意味着想抓住这些机会,必须要做一个“全国公民”。当我知道公司准备在合肥建立环境事业部的新工厂时,虽然要离开我曾工作过超过十年的上海,我仍充满期待。不久,我将踏上在康宁的新旅程。

My career at Corning started back to ten years ago. I was a forming process engineer. At that time, my goal was to be the best in class process engineer. After two years, fiber plant expansion brought me into the project team. My role was extended to coordination between engineering and operation. That is the first time I realized I can do more on leadership. Another thing influenced my career goal was that I've seen strong leadership successfully changed the culture of the plant through PEX. It makes me turned to managerial career path that I can add more value and influence more people.

I grew a lot through leading engineering team, and benefited tremendously from senior leaders by their coaching. My team continuously delivered performance and hit record, which encouraged me greatly that I believe can do even better on leadership. I became supervisor and later on engineering manager.

After three years as plant engineering manager at CSFOC, more opportunities were open to me during that time, driven by high business growth in China. There was a chance of leading prototyping engineering at CRCC for our research and new business development. I did have some hesitation about my new role. Could I continue to add value? Could I work well with scientists, commercial people and customers? But I knew that I was going to grow more though it's a big challenge for my comfortable zone. Fortunately, I have met great leaders and scientists here, and with their strong support, we have successfully set up the prototyping center.

As Corning's continuous investment in China, there are even more opportunities now and in future. But along with the economy growth out of Tier 1 cities, the new opportunities emerge in Tier 2 cities. Which means talents should be ready to be a nation-wide citizen. When I know we plan to build a new facility in Hefei for environmental business, I'm excited about the opportunity - though it means I have to relocate out of Shanghai where I have worked for more than ten years. The new journey of my career adventure is going to be started.

我生于一个西部的三线城市,十五年前来到上海上学随后开始了第一份工作。在上海深耕十余年之后,康宁合肥的建立无疑给了我一个全新的发展舞台和职业机会;对此我充满激动和期待。

2001年4月加入康宁, 作为一名操作工,开始时对这个行业有很多要学习的部分,这时公司给我们提供了良好的学习氛围,我们不定期的举行培训,学习成了我们工作和生活的一部分,通过不断的学习强化自身素质,我们才能够不断的成长以适应公司工作的需要,才能够出色的完成本职任务,在这个年轻的大家庭中,伴随着它的成长,并见证着我的成长。

2003年,我已经认证完干锯2A、2B,期间的工作表现得到了领导和公司的肯定,开始担当起成品小组长。同时正好公司有福利政策,可以赞助一部分学费帮助员工继续深造,我开始利用休息时间,从2003年至2006年,读了行政管理课程并取得了优秀学员证书和奖学金。

2006年认证为生产技术员,管理整个班组的人员,期间表现兢兢业业,成绩得到了班组和领导的肯定。

2013年,公司业务扩展,两号线的正式投产,有了线长这一个新岗位,作为第一批应聘人员,应聘成功,成为四位新线长一员,这是对我的工作表现最大的肯定,后面我继续保持高度的工作热情和积极的处事态度,在公司尽职尽责,带领两号线,完成了公司的各项生产指标。

I joined Corning as an operator in Apr, 2001. At the beginning I knew nothing about this industry, but Corning provided us with a good learning atmosphere by offering various of training. Since then learning has been part of our work and life, and through continuous learning we strengthened our abilities to meet the needs of our company. We grew with this young family.

I took the role of finish group leader in 2003 when I got the skill certifications of cutting IIA &IIB. My performance during that time was recognized by the leadership. From 2003 to 2006, I completed the administrative management courses with the sponsorship of part of tuition fees, and obtained the certificate of outstanding students and scholarship.

In 2006 I was certified as production technician and responsible for the management of a whole shift. My hardworking attitude was admired by the shift and our leadership.

In 2013, CSCL expanded its business and had a new production line. Meanwhile I applied for the new position of shift lead. I was successful in the interview and became one of the four new shift leads, which was also a good feedback for my work performance. After that I led the new production line to accomplish various of tasks.

加入康宁以来,一直在康宁环保科技部的上海工厂工作,现任工厂的工程部经理。上海也是我出生,上学,和一直工作的地方。很多人好奇我为什么选择去合肥工作,为什么这个时候?

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Electrical Controls resource for troubleshooting of production equipment in all areas. Control system troubleshooting will include but not limited to, Programmable Control Systems, Human Machine Interfaces, Robots, Motion Control, Measurement Systems, Instrumentation, Dryers, Kilns, Material Handling Systems, Networks, Computer system hardware / software application support for MES and data collection systems
  • Serve as a technical resource for questions regarding deviation and interpretation as well as managing changes during off shift activities
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with production and maintenance to provide first responder Controls and Level 1 I.T. support for the plant
  • Develop / maintain equipment safety in daily operation, continuously improve safety from electrical/controls
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and IP requirements, and continuously look for further improvements
  • Strive for continuous improvement opportunities, to deliver business objectives such as capacity, cost and quality.
  • Update documents. Provide technical training for related people.

Assistant Process Engineer

Major Preference:

  • Responsible for equipment high level trouble shooting that ensures production running smoothly
  • Supervise fabrication and installation of mechanical components.
