Cisco Enterprise DataServices (EDS) team - is part of Cisco IT organization. EDS teamis responsible for design and development of Cisco enterprise data relatedplatform and services supporting Cisco business operation. It covers areas of Master Data Managementservice, B2B API platform, business intelligence platform, enterprise policymanagement service, and data security service. It touches technology like big data analysis, various BI tools,Oracle/MySQL database, data leakage protection and prevention, and SOAarchitecture. EDS China team as part ofEDS global team works closely with the US and India colleagues on deliveringhigh quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• • Perform technical assessment by architecture and business requirements documents.
• • Write technical design documents for projects & features by functional specifications.
• • Implement project functionality by technical design document.
• • Perform unit test and code review.
• • Review and discuss technical issue & solution with global teams, communicate orally and in writing to articulate design and issues.
• • Bug fix and production issue support.
• • Work on multiple projects simultaneously when needed

Requirements:

• • Must have skill/experiences
• • Strong C or Java or Scala programming experience and debugging skills
• • Critical thinking and analysis abilities
• • Good team player
• • Strong technical sense and ability to research and find out root cause of technical issues
• • Familiar with Unix/Linux platform operations
• • Fluent English speaking and writing
• • Good to have skill/experiences
• • Hands-on experience of web technology development and experience, such as J2EE/JavaScript/XML
• • Hands-on experience on Oracle or MySQL development
• • Hands-on experience of a scripting language, Perl or Ruby
• • Hands-on experience of Linux Kernel development
• • Hands-on experience of Big Data platforms, such as Hadoop/Spark/Storm/ElasticSearch
• • Hands-on experience of machine learning technologies.
• • Networking knowledge
