CiscoTechnical Assistance Center(TAC)- helps to ensure that Cisco products andnetwork operate efficiently:
1. Cisco TAC receives high marks from customers for quick, effective responseand issue resolution.
2. 1,030+ CCIE? professionals, broad expertise in Cisco technologies andproducts, ownership of complex issues, commitment to high quality customerexperience -- rapid issue resolution
3. The staff is qualified to execute in several different critical areas:
Situation appraisal- where priority issues are resolved through actionplanning.
Problem analysis- where all problems are diagnosed consistently, regardlessof the technology
Decision analysis- wheregood, solid, actionable decisions are made to address problems/issues
Potential problem analysis-where risks are avoided and mitigated
Responsibilities:
  • • Provide second line phone/email/faxconsultation to independently debug complex product problems.
  • • Act as a technical expert and providessystems/product training on a world-wide basis.
  • • Act as a focal point for large accountnetwork problem resolution.
  • • Act as a technical expert. Provided supporton a world-wide basis.
  • • Typically interface with lower level CSE's,VARs, OEMs & end-users & internal engineering departments. Impact ismajor.
  • • Work on problems of diverse scope whereanalysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Applies known solutionsto solve problems.
Requirements:
  • • EducationalBackground
  • • Typically requires Bachelor/Master ofScience in a technical field (Computer Science /Electrical Engineeringpreferred)or equivalent.
  • • Musthave skill/experiences
  • • Demonstrate an aptitude and appetite forlearning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon coreknowledge.
  • • Crisis management skills.
  • • Ability to analyze, use and configure smallto medium networks.
  • • AExcellent written and verbal communicationin both English and Chinese, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • • Self-motivation, have strong sense ofresponsibility & team work spirit. Goodto have skill/experiences
  • • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)desired.
  • • TCP/IP Knowledge will be plus.
  • • Good programming and debugging skillsin Python, Java, Java script,Git
  • • Knowledge of popular APIs like REST,Netconf, RESTconf
  • • Experience working with structuredmodeling languages such as XML, JSON, YANG
  • • Good understanding of operatingsystems technologies and platforms (e.g. Linux)
