Cisco Enterprise Data Services (EDS) team- is part of Cisco IT organization. EDS team is responsible for design and development of Cisco enterprise data related platform and services supporting Cisco business operation. It covers areas of Master Data Management service, B2B API platform, business intelligence platform, enterprise policy management service, and data security service. It touches technology like big data analysis, various BI tools, Oracle/MySQL database, data leakage protection and prevention, and SOA architecture. EDS China team as part of EDS global team works closely with the US and India colleagues on delivering high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative new technologies, features that help detect abnormal behaviors to secure Cisco and Customers' valuable data.
• Perform technical assessment by architecture and business requirements documents.
• Write technical design documents for projects & features by functional specifications.
• Implement project functionality by technical design document.
• Perform unit test and code review.
• Review and discuss technical issue & solution with global teams, communicate orally and in writing to articulate design and issues.
• Bug fix and production issue support.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously when needed.
Requirements:
Must have skill/experiences
• Strong background in Machine Learning, Data mining, Statistics and etc.
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets, preferably using tools like Hadoop, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Spark and etc.
• Creative and critical thinking: ability to track down complex data and engineering issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems
• Experience programming in an object oriented language (Java, C++, etc)
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Ruby or Python
• Good team player
Good to have skill/experiences
• Comfortable with data analysis & visualization using tools like R, Matlab, or SciPy
• Familiar with Linux environment.
Educational Background：
Typically requires MS EE/CS
