| Business Group/Platform: WSBG Department: 3G Position Title: WCDMA System Test Engineer Level 1 Location: Beijing |
| Responsibility: • Understands test lists and test cases • Familiarizes with the test environments and tools • Conducts regression test or area test or automatic test (RT/ATC) under instructions • Conducts feature test or functional test, test whether the designed features could be realized from the costumer’s perspective under instruction • Conducts basic system test under instruction • Detects and describes technical problems and verifies under instruction • Generates test result / fault • Understands basic testing processes and methodologies • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned |
| Requirements • Good understanding of wireless system protocols in different interfaces (Uu, Iub, Iu, Iur etc) for UMTS/GSM/CDMA or TD-SCDMA • Knowledgeable in system integration, system test or interoperability test of wireless network • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment • Knowledgeable and experienced in using UNIX and PC • School projects or internship would be a plus • Fluent in written and oral English, CET-6 • Bachelor’s Degree or above in related area, major in Telecom, Computer Science, Engineering is Preferred |
